Aqua Kitty is an underwater platformer about a heroic cat who must swim, grapple, and bubble her way through all a world flooded with humanity's garbage while cleverly avoiding dangerous sea creatures and unearthing the mysteries of the deep.
The planet has flooded and the seas have filled up with all humanity's garbage! This means trouble for the most intelligent species on earth — cats! Every cat’s worst nightmare comes true as they struggle to stay dry. As they remake society out of floating trash they realize they require more garbage to survive. Enter Aqua Kitty: a specially trained (or just brave) kitty who must face her deepest fears and dive down for garbage and treasures. She must use her innate kitty cunning and dexterity to scuba her way through the crowded seas, grapple onto her sea friends, and upgrade new weapons to expel dangerous enemies. As you dive deeper into the dark conspiracies of the last corporation on earth, you must face even darker questions: what happens when you run out of garbage? How will the kitties of this new water world survive? Will you become the hero we need?
Aqua Kitty is a 2D puzzle platformer in which the player controls the titular character to embark on an underwater journey to save the world. Her goal: get to the bottom of the ocean — and the mystery. While she is buoyant and has been trained to swim, as a cat she knows she is out of her element, so she uses her grappling harpoon to quickly zip herself to turtles and clams to avoid hazards and collect garbage more quickly. With enemies like barracuda, sharks, jellyfish, hazardous waste, underwater robots, and strange deep-sea creatures, she has to be agile and clever. If she suffers too much damage or runs out of bubbles, she respawns at the last source of air, so she will have to know when to hide and when to zip!
The Spiderman-style Grappling Move
Move faster and stealthily towards sea creatures to avoid enemies. Hide your way through the hazards of the sea the only way an Aqua Kitty can!
Garbage Bubble Shooting
Use your powerful bubble gun to shoot all the garbage for them to float up to the surface and pop out. Angle and distance are the keys since the bubbles sometimes are not as obedient in water due to buoyancy.
Weapon Upgrading
After cleaning all the garbage at one level, it's time to bring your weapon to the next level too! With a faster speed and larger power, you may unleash the ability to shoot away an enemy. But remember, the more powerful the weapon is, the harder it is to control. Leverage the new challenge to master the skill!
